Technically, they are right.
But anyone who has stood in the middle of a crowd during a concert knows that music is much more than that.
Music can stop time for a few minutes.
It can make thousands of strangers feel connected without saying a single word.
It can bring back memories you thought were gone forever.
Sometimes, one song can understand you better than people do.
I created Music Before Silence because music has always felt temporary to me.
Not only because songs end, concerts finish, and artists disappear, but because our ability to listen is fragile too.
One day, all of us will hear silence for the last time.
So maybe music is not just entertainment.
Maybe it is one of the most human things we have.
