MEMORY TRACKS

Where songs become memories.

Memory Tracks is a collection of short musical stories.
Not stories about famous artists, chart positions, or album sales.
Stories about the moments that remained long after the music ended.

A drive home after a concert.
A worn cassette playing on a quiet motorway.
A song attached to a particular summer.
A memory that somehow survived while everything around it changed.

Some of these stories are fictional.
But many of the feelings inside them are shared.
Because somewhere out there, someone sat in a parked car long after arriving home, waiting for a song to finish before turning off the engine.

Someone else spent weeks listening to the same songs after a heartbreak, knowing they should probably stop, but pressing play again anyway.
Someone kept a concert ticket for decades.
Someone remembers a journey more clearly than the destination.

We may not know each other, but music has a strange way of creating familiar memories.
The details change.
The cars are different.
The cities are different.
The songs are different.

Yet somehow the feelings remain recognisable.

Some stories are imagined.
Some are inspired by real moments.
Most exist somewhere in between.
Because music rarely stays inside the song itself.
It follows us home.
And in one way or another, we've all been there.
